Kickstarter will be collecting your pledges. If there are any hiccups along the way there, they will be in touch with you about how to fix the problems. The sooner you are able to fix any issues that they identify, the sooner they can release the funds to me. I can't send out surveys or rewards until that happens.
BackerKit has to approve my surveys and send a smoke test (just to make sure the information got ported over successfully). Once that has been taken care of, surveys will go out. I'm hoping this will be by about June 10th.
I will be recording the audio commentaries in the next couple of weeks so that they will be ready to go out with all digital rewards.

I know I've said it a lot, but I am just blown away by everyone's support on this campaign. I honestly never really dreamt this old series could see such support. And it gives me such great hope for the future because I have BIG plans for expanding this universe with a ton more strong women and fierce magic.

Well, let's get the sad news out of the way first. We didn't hit 80 backers by yesterday. We got close, but that means I won't be writing the extra scenes for Spring's Calling. At least not right now (I have plans....you'll just have to stick around to find out what they are). But, don't feel too sad, because we are now $244 from breaking $5,000. And with 4 days to go, I think we can make it.
I wanted to also take a minute to talk about the audio commentaries you'll be getting as a bonus from this campaign. I'd never heard of the concept as it related to a book before launching this campaign. But I LOVE commentaries on movies and TV shows. I have watched every episode of Leverage with commentary at least once. I just adore getting to hear the behind-the-scenes stories and fun stuff that comes up when creators get to share their experience making the thing they love. And so, I'm doing the same thing. I will be recording them in early June so that they should be ready to go out with most of the other digital rewards.
An Intro to BackerKit and BookFunnel
Speaking of reward delivery, I wanted to let you all know that I'll be using BackerKit to send out campaign surveys and deliver digital rewards and bonuses. You don't need to set up an account or anything. When surveys are ready, you'll get an email with a link to your specific survey. And then, once you've filled it out and the money has been released from Kickstarter (this part usually happens about two weeks after the end of the campaign), then BackerKit will send you an email with links and downloads for all of your goodies. Simple.
Most of the digital rewards (e-books and audiobooks) will have links to BookFunnel which is a great service that is free for reader and listeners to use. You can read or listen to books on their app which is available on all mobile devices or read and listen right from your web browser.
