Guys, I get to see your beautiful faces (only if you're comfortable being on camera...I get it) with the LIVE ZOOM Q&A! I really am looking forward to doing this. Part of the reason i've come to Kickstarter is to forge a deeper bond with you all.

Details on the when and all that jazz will be decided once the campaign finishes and the post-campaign craziness dies down a little. I'm guessing it will likely be the end of June.

Hey guys,

We are rocking and rolling toward that $5,000 stretch goal. But I wanted to do something else for you guys on our way that milestone.  If we hit 80 backers before the end of today, (May 22), I will include 3-4 brand new extended and/or bonus scenes to Spring's Calling e-book editions (this includes the version of this book contained in the Complete series boxed set). I already know which scenes would get the special treatment and I think they would enhance the story and deepen the connections between characters. We are only 8 backers away. So, go spread the word and let's crush this goal, too!

Holy moly!

I'm not going to lie, I didn't think we would get to this point when I hit the launch button for this campaign. But together, we've doubled the raise on my first campaign for this series. THANK YOU!

As an added thanks, I wanted to share the hardcover cover designs with you. I might be biased, but I love these covers.

NEW STRETCH GOAL!

For the first time during this campaign I get to announce a stretch goal before we've reached it! If you missed the last one, don't feel bad. I don't think I actually told anyone what it hade been planned for. So, a quick recap: I'd planned to offer audio commentaries on books 1 and 2 if we hit either $2,500 or 50 backers by the end of week 1 and books 3 and 4 if we hit $3,000. That came and went before I could post about it!

So, the new goal: if we can hit $5,000 by the end of the campaign, I will invite all of you to a live Q&A over Zoom This is kind of a big deal for me. I'm not a big fan of being on camera, but I'm fighting that discomfort and fear to hang out with all of you. Depending on how many of you there are, I might be persuaded to do more than one session!

So, let's spread the word and push this campaign even higher!

Short Story Cover Reveal!

I know I haven't talked much about the short story everyone is getting that's exclusive to this campaign, but I wanted to share a little about it with you today. I'm still in the process of writing it (I had intended to have it done before campaign launch day, but life had other ideas).

We first meet Kayla in Spring's Calling and she's quite the snarky character. I always knew I wanted to explore her more at some point and I've been able to do that a bit with the Agents of Magic spin-off series (starting with book 1, Unseen Magic). But, I always had this sort of backstory in my head for her of how she ended up where she was when Ezri first meets her. And so, the idea for Ghosted was born. And i just got the beautiful cover art for the story and had to share it with you!

I can't decide if I'm more excited to see the origin of Kaya's Whisperer magic or the fact that we get to visit some other fan favorite characters, like Desmond and Avery!

If you want to get some deeper depth into the other characters, don't miss your chance to grab the complete boxed set in audio. Not only do you get a Desmond short and a short from Ezri's dad's POV, but my narrator, Stephanie has done a fantastic job breathing a different kind of light and life into these characters that I personally think everyone should experience.

We have now rolled into our second week of the campaign and we are cruising right along. Over the weekend we added another $900 and we are now a stone's throw away from $3,200! WOW!
